Turning gamers into organ donors.

The Playstation 5 launch had 26 times more news coverage than 10 humanitarian crises combined in 2020. At the same time, recent organ donations correspond to less than 10% of the global need. Time to use this awareness for good.

In the game “Demon’s Souls” we recruited players to not kill others by stealing their souls but do the opposite: Saving lives and become the “Angel’s Souls”. By giving life in the virtual world, we spread the word that anyone can give life in the real world, too.

The small gesture made everyone look at organ donation with fresh eyes. Sparking conversation throughout hundreds of gaming communities and even inspiring other players to recreate the stunt. But most importantly: inspiring users to download the Save One Person app and register as organ donors.
