The 7th star for
Germany

Football knows no gender.

Only united we  are the best team in the world. For the 2019 Women’s World Cup Nike showed that football knows no gender.

Instead of focusing on “women’s” football, like most brands, Nike started a movement towards gender equality: The men’s and women’s six world cup titles were united, so that the whole country could cheer for the 7th star. To give this idea a symbol we created an alternative unisex tricot: The 7 stars jersey with a sewn on manifesto for equality.

The manifesto.

You can’t choose where you start.
But where you want to go. And even if they stand in the way of your dream, you don’t have to prove anything to the world.
Change it.

Show the world, that this is about more.
About equal opportunities. For everyone.
And about equal respect.
About equal support, equal rules,
appreciation and success.

That’s worth giving it your all.
So that your dream doesn’t remain a dream,
but inspires a whole stadium first, and then
a whole country.

Don’t change your dream.
Change the world.
